July 30, 2003; Denver, Colorado -- TekOps, Inc. announced today that it has successfully completed the purchase of all technology and architectural information from BTS, Inc. in Denver, Colorado.  Pam Weismeir, a corporate spokesperson, said "BTS was a Denver-based technology firm that was highly successful in the early 90's with pre-world-wide-web solutions running on the Macintosh, Windows, and DOS platforms that provided many of the benefits of the world-wide-web over low-speed communications links.  Their customers included major corporations, educational institutions and military applications in the United States and Canada.  TekOps, Inc. was primarily interested in their independantly developed TCP/IP solutions and technology surrounding the OSI model."

TekOps, Inc. obtains core technologies to strengthen it's independance and overall ability to solve problems that other firms cannot tackle.  This ackquisition is in line with that corporate strategy.
